Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Cream the softened butter in a large mixing bowl until light and fluffy.
- In a separate bowl, mix the whole wheat flour, baking powder, red pepper flakes, salt, and chopped rosemary.
- Slowly fold the grated white cheddar and the dry mixture into the creamed butter until a dough forms.
- Cover the dough with plastic wrap and chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
- On a floured surface, roll out the dough to 1/4 inch thickness and cut into desired shapes.
- Place the cookies on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
- Cool on a wire rack and serve warm or store in an airtight container.
