Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
- In a large bowl, mix together the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, salt, and ground cinnamon until well-combined.
- In another bowl, whisk together the melted butter, egg, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
- Combine the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients, stirring gently until just mixed.
- Fold in the chopped apples, ensuring they’re evenly distributed throughout the batter.
- Pour half of the batter into the prepared loaf pan, sprinkle with brown sugar, then add the remaining batter on top.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let cool for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
