Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup chopped Cadbury cream eggs
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a saucepan, brown the butter over medium heat until it turns golden brown and has a nutty aroma. Remove from heat and let cool.
- In a large bowl, combine the browned butter with brown sugar and granulated sugar, mixing until smooth.
- Add the eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until fully incorporated.
- In a separate bowl, mix the flour, baking soda, and salt together. Gradually add this dry mixture to the wet ingredients until combined.
- Gently fold in the chopped Cadbury cream eggs and chocolate chips.
- Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, spacing them a few inches apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden but the centers are soft.
- Let cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
For extra crunch, consider adding nuts like walnuts or pecans. Chilling the dough for 30 minutes can help maintain the cookie shape.
