Ingredients
Scale
- 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 cups cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 large eggs
- 2 cups peeled and chopped apples
- 1 cup caramel sauce
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
- In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs and melted butter until well combined. Press the mixture into the bottom of the prepared baking pan to form the crust.
- In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Fold in the chopped apples, cinnamon, and salt. Pour the cheesecake mixture over the crust in the baking pan.
- Drizzle caramel sauce over the top of the cheesecake layer.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until the edges are set and the center is slightly jiggly.
- Allow to cool, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours before cutting into bars. Serve chilled or at room temperature.
Notes
Make sure the cream cheese is softened before mixing for a smooth texture. Serve with extra caramel sauce or ice cream.
