- 1 cup plain yogurt
- 1 clove garlic, minced (for the sauce)
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Olive oil (for grilling)
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine ground chicken, chopped onion, minced garlic, cumin, coriander, paprika, salt, pepper, and parsley. Mix until well combined.
- Form the mixture into oblong kofta shapes or patties.
- Preheat the grill or a skillet over medium heat and brush with olive oil.
- Grill the koftas for about 5-7 minutes on each side, until cooked through and golden brown.
- In a separate bowl, mix yogurt, minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, and pepper for the garlic yogurt sauce.
- Serve the koftas warm with the garlic yogurt sauce on the side.
Notes
Ensure the meat mixture is well combined but do not over-mix to keep the koftas tender. Watch them closely while grilling to avoid burning.
