Instructions
- In a saucepan, combine water and sugar. Bring to a boil, stirring to dissolve sugar.
- Add fresh cranberries and bring back to a boil.
- Reduce heat and simmer for about 10 minutes, or until cranberries burst and sauce thickens.
- Let cool, then refrigerate until serving.
Notes
Wash the cranberries well before cooking and adjust the sweetness according to your taste. For a twist, add a pinch of cinnamon or a zest of orange.
