Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking dish with butter.
- Tear the croissants into bite-sized pieces and place them in the greased dish.
- In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, heavy cream, sugar, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt.
- Pour the egg mixture over the croissant pieces, ensuring they are soaked evenly.
- If desired, cover and refrigerate overnight for a make-ahead option.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30–35 minutes, or until golden brown and set.
- Let cool for a few minutes before serving. Dust with powdered sugar and serve warm with maple topping.
Notes
