Description

A natural mosquito repellent candle made with lime, cloves, and a tealight. Perfect for outdoor gatherings.


Ingredients

Scale

1 lime (or lemon)

Whole cloves

1 tealight candle

3 toothpicks or wooden skewers (cut to size)

Knife and spoon for carving


Instructions

  1. Slice the lime in half crosswise.
  2. Scoop out the pulp from the bottom half to form a bowl.
  3. Insert whole cloves into the inner edge of the lime bowl.
  4. Place the tealight candle in the center.
  5. Insert the toothpicks vertically to support the top.
  6. Scoop out the pulp from the top half to create a dome.
  7. Rest the dome on the toothpicks to form a lantern.
  8. Light the candle and enjoy mosquito-free outdoor time.

Notes

  • ou can use lemon or orange as an alternative to lime.
