- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup hazelnuts, chopped
- 1 cup chocolate, chopped or chocolate chips
- Ferrero Rocher chocolates for the center
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla.
- In another bowl, combine the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture.
- Fold in the chopped hazelnuts and chocolate.
- Scoop a tablespoon of the dough, flatten it slightly, and place a Ferrero Rocher chocolate in the center. Enclose the chocolate with the dough and roll into a ball.
- Place the cookies on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the edges are firm.
- Allow cookies to cool before serving. Enjoy!
Notes
Store in an airtight container for up to a week or freeze for up to three months. Experiment with different chocolates and nuts for variation.
