- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 8 oz mushrooms, chopped
- 4 tbsp butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat and sauté garlic until fragrant.
- Add chopped mushrooms and cook until soft.
- Season with salt and pepper, then remove from heat.
- Cut a pocket in each chicken breast and stuff with the mushroom mixture.
- In the same skillet, add heavy cream and parmesan cheese, stirring until smooth.
- Place stuffed chicken in a baking dish and pour the creamy sauce over the top.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
For best flavor, use fresh mushrooms and check chicken doneness with a meat thermometer for 165°F (74°C).
