- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup pineapple, diced
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
- 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Cooked rice or taco shells for serving
- Chopped green onions for garnish
Instructions
- In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Add shrimp to the skillet and cook until they turn pink, about 2-3 minutes per side.
- Stir in pineapple, lime juice, and ginger, and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve over rice, in tacos, or as an appetizer, garnished with chopped green onions.
Notes
For the best results, ensure your shrimp are fresh or properly thawed if frozen. Don’t overcook the shrimp, as they can become tough.
