Ingredients

1 lb lean ground beef

1 tablespoon sesame oil

3 cups green cabbage, shredded

1 cup carrots, julienned

2 cups kale or spinach, chopped

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon fresh ginger, minced

1/4 cup low sodium soy sauce

1 tablespoon rice vinegar

1 tablespoon oyster sauce (optional)

2 teaspoons cornstarch mixed with 2 tablespoons water (optional)

1 tablespoon sesame seeds

2 green onions, sliced


Instructions

  1. Heat sesame oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  2. Add ground beef and cook until browned, about 6–8 minutes.
  3. Add garlic and ginger, stir and cook for 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Stir in cabbage, carrots, and kale/spinach. Sauté for 4–5 minutes.
  5. Mix soy sauce, rice vinegar, and oyster sauce. Add to skillet.
  6. If using, add cornstarch slurry and cook 1–2 minutes to thicken.
  7. Remove from heat and sprinkle with sesame seeds and green onions.
  8. Serve stacked neatly for visual appeal.
