Ingredients
1 lb lean ground beef
1 tablespoon sesame oil
3 cups green cabbage, shredded
1 cup carrots, julienned
2 cups kale or spinach, chopped
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon fresh ginger, minced
1/4 cup low sodium soy sauce
1 tablespoon rice vinegar
1 tablespoon oyster sauce (optional)
2 teaspoons cornstarch mixed with 2 tablespoons water (optional)
1 tablespoon sesame seeds
2 green onions, sliced
Instructions
- Heat sesame oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
- Add ground beef and cook until browned, about 6–8 minutes.
- Add garlic and ginger, stir and cook for 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
- Stir in cabbage, carrots, and kale/spinach. Sauté for 4–5 minutes.
- Mix soy sauce, rice vinegar, and oyster sauce. Add to skillet.
- If using, add cornstarch slurry and cook 1–2 minutes to thicken.
- Remove from heat and sprinkle with sesame seeds and green onions.
- Serve stacked neatly for visual appeal.
