Ingredients
- Turkey Breast (Bone-in or Boneless, about 3-5 pounds)
- Unsalted Butter (½ cup, softened)
- Fresh Rosemary (2 tablespoons, chopped)
- Fresh Thyme (2 tablespoons, chopped)
- Fresh Sage (1 tablespoon, chopped)
- Fresh Parsley (2 tablespoons, chopped)
- Garlic (3 cloves, minced)
- Lemon Zest (1 teaspoon)
- Salt (1 ½ teaspoons)
- Black Pepper (1 teaspoon)
- Olive Oil (1 tablespoon)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and pat the turkey breast dry.
- In a medium bowl, mix the softened butter with rosemary, thyme, sage, parsley, garlic, lemon zest, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Drizzle olive oil on the turkey and spread the herb butter all over the turkey breast, including under the skin if possible.
- Roast in the preheated oven for 1 hour and 15 minutes to 1 hour and 45 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Remove from oven and tent with foil for 15-20 minutes before carving to allow juices to redistribute.
- Slice against the grain and serve. Enjoy with your choice of sides.
Notes
Ensure your butter is really soft to mix well with the herbs. Use a meat thermometer to check the turkey’s doneness.
