Ingredients
Scale
- 4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice (or rice vinegar)
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley or sesame seeds for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels and season generously with salt and black pepper.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, minced garlic, soy sauce, and lemon juice until well combined.
- In a large non-stick skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.
- Place the salmon fillets skin-side down in the skillet and cook for 4-5 minutes until the skin is crispy and golden.
- Flip the salmon fillets carefully using a spatula, lower the heat to medium-low, and pour the honey glaze over the salmon.
- Continue to cook for another 3-5 minutes until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
- Remove from heat and let the salmon rest for a minute. Serve immediately, optionally garnished with fresh parsley or sesame seeds.
Notes
You can prepare the honey glaze in advance and store it in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week.
