- 1 cup Unsalted butter (softened)
- 1.5 cups All-purpose flour
- 0.5 cups Powdered sugar
- 0.25 teaspoon Salt
- 0.75 cups Chopped almonds (divided)
- 1 can Sweetened condensed milk (14 ounces)
- 1 large Large egg
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
- 0.5 cups Mini chocolate chips (can substitute with your favorite type)
- 0.5 cups Toffee bits
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, mix all-purpose flour, powdered sugar, and salt.
- Cream the softened unsalted butter in a large bowl. Gradually mix in the flour mixture until crumbly.
- Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until lightly golden brown.
- While crust bakes, mix sweetened condensed milk, large egg, and vanilla extract until combined.
- Fold in 0.5 cups chopped almonds, mini chocolate chips, and toffee bits.
- Pour the filling over the baked crust.
- Sprinkle the remaining 0.25 cups of chopped almonds over the top.
- Bake for an additional 20-25 minutes until set and lightly browned.
- Let cool for at least 15 minutes before cutting into squares.
