  • 1 cup Unsalted butter (softened)
  • 1.5 cups All-purpose flour
  • 0.5 cups Powdered sugar
  • 0.25 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.75 cups Chopped almonds (divided)
  • 1 can Sweetened condensed milk (14 ounces)
  • 1 large Large egg
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 0.5 cups Mini chocolate chips (can substitute with your favorite type)
  • 0.5 cups Toffee bits

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
  3. In a medium bowl, mix all-purpose flour, powdered sugar, and salt.
  4. Cream the softened unsalted butter in a large bowl. Gradually mix in the flour mixture until crumbly.
  5. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes until lightly golden brown.
  7. While crust bakes, mix sweetened condensed milk, large egg, and vanilla extract until combined.
  8. Fold in 0.5 cups chopped almonds, mini chocolate chips, and toffee bits.
  9. Pour the filling over the baked crust.
  10. Sprinkle the remaining 0.25 cups of chopped almonds over the top.
  11. Bake for an additional 20-25 minutes until set and lightly browned.
  12. Let cool for at least 15 minutes before cutting into squares.
