Instructions
- Hand out materials including one penguin outline sheet, a glue stick, cotton balls, and orange paper cutouts to each child.
- Show children how to add glue to the penguin’s belly and body area, then stick cotton balls down to cover the white body. Encourage them to fluff the cotton for a softer look.
- Have children glue the orange cutouts onto the penguin’s face for the beak and onto the bottom for the feet, reminding them to press gently.
- Allow children to compare their penguins with the example and encourage creative variations in their designs.
