A delicious twist on the classic Philly cheesesteak, combining cheesy tortellini with sautéed steak and colorful veggies for a comforting one-pot meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 package of tortellini
  • 1 lb sliced steak (or chicken)
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1 green bell pepper, diced
  • 2 cups provolone cheese, shredded
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: additional veggies (mushrooms, spinach, etc.)

Instructions

  1. Cook the tortellini according to package instructions.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  3. Add the diced onion and bell pepper, sauté until soft.
  4. Add the sliced steak (or chicken) and cook until browned.
  5. Season with salt and pepper, and add any optional veggies.
  6. Once the meat is cooked through, reduce heat and mix in the cooked tortellini.
  7. Sprinkle the shredded provolone cheese on top and let it melt.
  8. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-4 days. Reheat in the microwave or stovetop.
