Instructions
- In a bowl, whisk together pumpkin puree, eggs, milk, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and add butter or oil.
- Dip each slice of bread into the pumpkin mixture, allowing it to soak for a few seconds.
- Cook the bread slices on the skillet for 3-4 minutes on each side, until golden brown.
- Serve warm with maple drizzle.
Notes
Use firm, slightly stale bread for best results. Serve with fresh fruit or a sprinkle of nuts.
