A simple and delicious side dish featuring fresh asparagus roasted to perfection with Parmesan cheese.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Asparagus
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 tsp Lemon zest
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Trim the tough ends of the asparagus and place them on a baking sheet.
  3. Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt and black pepper.
  4. Toss to coat the asparagus evenly.
  5. Roast in the oven for 12-15 minutes until tender.
  6. Remove from the oven and sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese and lemon zest before serving.

Notes

For best results, use fresh asparagus and don’t skip the lemon zest for added flavor.
