Instructions
- Mix the flour, salt, and pepper together in a bowl until well combined.
- Dredge the cleaned calamari in the flour mixture, ensuring each piece is evenly coated.
- Heat oil in a deep skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
- Fry the calamari in batches, cooking each batch for about 2-3 minutes or until golden brown.
- Remove the fried calamari and place them on paper towels to drain any excess oil.
- Serve hot with lemon wedges on the side and a dipping sauce of your choice if desired.
