- 1 can of tuna, drained
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup shredded zucchini or cauliflower (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Cooking spray or oil for the waffle maker
Instructions
- Mix together the drained tuna, mayonnaise, cheese, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Beat the eggs in another bowl and stir in the shredded zucchini or cauliflower if using.
- Combine the tuna mixture with the egg mixture and mix well. Season with salt and pepper.
- Preheat the waffle maker and lightly grease it with cooking spray or oil.
- Pour the tuna mixture into the waffle maker and close the lid. Cook according to the manufacturer’s instructions until the chaffle is golden brown and crispy.
- Carefully remove the chaffle and serve warm, optionally with a side salad or low-carb dipping sauce.
Notes
To store leftovers, let the chaffles cool completely, then place them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days.
