- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can (15 oz) diced tomatoes
- 1 can (8 oz) tomato sauce
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1 cup cooked rice (optional)
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- In a slow cooker, combine the ground beef, chopped cabbage, onion, and garlic.
- Add the diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, paprika, salt, and pepper. Stir to mix everything well.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours, or on high for 3-4 hours, until the cabbage is tender and the beef is cooked through.
- If desired, serve over cooked rice or use in wraps.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
For best flavor, use fresh ground beef and ripe tomatoes. Feel free to adjust the spices to suit your taste. Adding cheese on top can enhance the dish, and for a bit of heat, consider adding jalapeños or red pepper flakes.
