- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 cup sugar (for coating)
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon (for coating)
Instructions
- In a medium saucepan, combine water, butter, sugar, and vanilla extract. Bring to a boil.
- Add flour and salt, stirring vigorously until the mixture forms a ball. Remove from heat.
- Allow to cool slightly, then add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Use a piping bag to pipe small rounds onto parchment paper.
- Air fry for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown.
- In a separate bowl, mix sugar and cinnamon.
- Toss warm churro bites in the cinnamon sugar mixture before serving.
Notes
For best results, do not crowd the air fryer basket and adjust the cinnamon sugar coating to taste.
