- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can (28 ounces) crushed tomatoes
- 1 can (15 ounces) tomato sauce
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 package (9 ounces) refrigerated cheese tortellini
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large skillet, cook the ground beef, onion, and garlic over medium heat until the beef is browned.
- Add the crushed tomatoes, tomato sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 10 minutes.
- Stir in the tortellini and mix well.
- Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and top with mozzarella cheese.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
Serve with a crisp green salad or steamed vegetables. Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days.
